Department for Local Economic Development was launched within the management of USAID MEGA, GTZ program. This department is anticipated to be a pillar of city`s development.

Goals of the Local Economic Development Department

Local Economic Development Department is an organizational unit of the City Administration of Zajecar City. The Department is created to manage the following proffesional affairs:

-    promotion of the local economic development,

-    attracting new investments,

-    support providing to investment process,

-    support and promotion of entrepreneurship and creation of preconditions for life quality enhancement, economic development of Zajecar City through initiation, management and realization of projects and other activities within the field of local economic development .
