Agreement with ``Gorenje`` finally signed on January 27, 2011.
The Vice president of the Serbian Government, Mladjan Dinkic, the President of the Management Board of ``Gorenje``, Franjo Bobinac and the Mayor of the City of Zajecar, Bosko Nicic have signed the agreement concerning the opening of a new factory in Zajecar. According to the contract, ``Gorenje`` is purchasing the halls of the former factory ``Porcelan``where the manufacture of washing and drying machines will commence. 80% out of the overall production output is planned to be exported to Russian market. By the end of this very year, ``Gorenje`` is going to employ 100 workers and within the period of the next three years, the total number of the employees will reach 300.

``Gorenje`` is the largest company on the territory of the southeastern Europe and the Republic of Serbia is of a strategic significance to this company since 10% out of the total annual turnover is realized in Serbia. Beside the employment for 300 workers, this investment will set off the production of the components and, likewise, an intensive cooperation with schools is anticipated.
